Vernon Bewley, President As the driving force behind Hill Shepherd, Vernon's role is to help your business achieve bottom-line results, cost effectively and on deadline. Whether you already have marketing programs in place or starting from scratch, Vernon will work with you to develop and implement a plan of action to meet your current business goals through web development, media planning, brand identity, public relations, sponsorships, advertising, packaging or collateral design. Upon your approval of the project direction and estimated cost, Hill Shepherd Marketing Group's team moves forward to make your new marketing strategies a reality. With a strong background in the production agriculture and equine industries, Vernon's experiences range far beyond marketing from animal nutrition, ranch management to prooduct and software development. Having the knowledge and exposure in these different areas allow him to better serve you in making your company stand out from the flock.
Jessee Horwedel, Account Manager Jessee was raised around horses and has been involved in the sport of rodeo her entire life. She began riding and competing in barrel races at the age of three. She has competed at all levels of competition from junior rodeo all the way up to PRCA events. Jessee is a professional barrel racer and trains futurity horses. Currently she is a member of the AQHA and the WPRA. She grew up on a ranch in a small California town where she learned to train barrel horses with her mother Kym. In 2006 she moved to Stephenville, TX to attend college on an academic scholarship. Jessee graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing. Having a strong background in equine and agriculture, she utilizes her knowledge to help her clients achieve a successful marketing campaign. Jessee’s husband is a professional saddle bronc rider and her mom Kym still competes and trains barrel horses on their ranch in Stephenville.
